Eucalyptus regnans is the tallest flowering plant in the world.
On favorable sites it can grow to 100 metres high.
Known also as Tasmanian Oak, it is used extensively for house construction and furniture making.
It is considered to be the best eucalypt for use in pulp and paper manufacturing.
